On Feb. 15, 2016, Florida Accountable Care Services (FACS) and UnitedHealthcare held a community event in Orlando, Fla. to announce a new commercial ACO that goes live April 1. FACS has 350 primary care physicians and 700 specialists participating in the ACO, which will be available to approximately 21,000 UnitedHealthcare members across Central Florida. This is the first commercial ACO UnitedHealthcare has announced in Florida.
